Place 2 tablespoons lime juice on a separate shallow plate. Dip rims of 2 rocks glasses into the lime juice, then dip into the salt and zest mixture, coating the rims with the mixture. Add ice to each glass. Cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain the mixture evenly into the prepared glasses. Garnish each with a lime wheel, if desired.
