Stanley Tucci just announced the launch of his new cookware line, and it's as exciting as it sounds. Available at Williams Sonoma, the line—fittingly named "Tucci"—is in partnership with GreenPan for sleek and practical pots and pans. "I'm very excited to launch this cookware line," Tucci said in the announcement video posted on Instagram. "This collection with GreenPan looks as good as it performs. This is cookware that makes cooking easier, it looks great, it performs beautifully, it's cookware that will help you enjoy your life through food." Want to know our thoughts on the PFAS-free collection? One of EatingWell's savvy food writers Kristin Montemarano tested out the line ahead of its release. Here's what she had to say about the 11-piece cookware set. It's Official! Amazon Just Announced the Dates of Its Massive October Prime Day Event When Montemarano first received the cookware, she immediately noticed the stunning exterior on each item. "As soon as I started unwrapping them, I noticed just how genuinely beautiful they were," she said. "The interior sparkled just as much as the stainless steel on the outside, and the handles are very sleek and sharp. They also felt very durable and good quality." The 11-piece set includes an 8-inch frying pan, a 10-inch frying pan, a 2-quart saucepan with lid, a 4-quart sauce pan with lid, a 4-quart sauté pan with lid, and an 8-quart stockpot with insert and lid. After testing out everything in the set, Montemarano said she used both frying pans, the 2-quart saucepan and the 8-quart stockpot the most. First, this truly is a nonstick collection. "Literally nothing sticks to them," Montemarano raved. "I love that I can use them on the stove and in the oven, since I make dishes like shakshuka often." Plus, they're intended for everyday use, and that's exactly what Montemarano uses the line for. Le Creuset Just Released Its Autumn Collection, and It's Filled With Cozy Pieces That Start at Just $24 "They were made to be used everyday, and I have no problems just leaving it on the stove to grab for breakfast, lunch and dinner, since they're so chic looking," she said. "There are a lot of small elements to the design that make a big difference to me. I love the actual shape and sizes of the pans, and despite the fact that I can't heat them on high, the materials they chose still hold heat and brown foods well." Because they're ceramic nonstick pots and pans, it's important to remember that they're gentle-use products. Considering the high price mark on the collection, be sure to avoid high heat and be careful to not damage the interior of the pans, per Montemarano's suggestion. "Nonstick pans will lose their coating over time, so it's also important to keep in mind that these pans are not necessarily going to be forever pans like cast iron," she explained. "But with all of that aside, in terms of nonstick cookware—they're an incredible choice." And if you're unsure what to whip up with your new cookware, Montemarano said that she made "everything" with them, including shakshuka, tofu noodle stir-fry, cacio e pepe and quick tomato sauce.
